Summer is here. And whats the first thing I do? Write an article about big chains and how they are sucking the individuality out of our country and our lives. (RE: New Worlds becoming a freakin' Starbucks) *sigh* The first edition of the newspaper in september should be rather interesting if I keep this up =P I am such a "liberal" when I write!

Anyways, off to bed now, thats enough ranting for one night.

PS. I wanna protest at New World very badly lol That would be awesome. (Emily suggested it first; I simply agree and would totally show up with like a sign and yell stuff or send angry letters because I am cool like that and I need my chai!)

I really like that article idea. I was just thinking that quite recently...about Starbucks and other chains...sucking away the individuality.



And seriously, we should really protest. It would be so funny/great.

I was thinking about it today...we should have signs that say that you can go to Starbucks, just no this one - there's one like less than a mile away.

We should make signs one day like that, maybe print out mapquets directions to the starbucks under a MILE away and hand them out =P The possibilities are really endless but we really ought to do something lol

There is nowhere you can go basically that does not have a Starbucks within a mile basically... unless you go to like, Antartica. The sad thing is this Starbucks will get plenty of business too =/
